I've always collected rocks. From Israel, to New Zealand, to Macedonia, to Peru, I found little thrills in pocketing small pieces of mountains, rivers, caves, and oceans that I visited. I revel in the artwork of Mother Earth, and I admire her ability to manifest magic, beauty, and healing into the physical world in the form of stones and crystals.
Since I have adopted the art of macrame, I can tap into this rhythm of Mother Earth. It has become my meditation, my passion, and my way of spreading my heart and soul to this world. In Hawaiian, the word "Miana" means a beautiful wave, bringing peace and harmony to the shores around. This is what I strive for in my work.
